Each entry in Stephen Lotus’ log is a digital rendering created solely with mobile applications. His abstract renditions put one in the middle of epic cosmic events: a galactic explosion, a dreamy wormhole, melted nebulas, or even an encounter with a celestial titan. Stephen’s goal is to produce mesmerizing space-scapes which send one through hyperspace and into the deepest realms of their mind or their innerverse (inner universe). Lotus has been a contemporary creative since 2009, upon his introduction to mobile photography. The artwork Stephen Lotus creates is immersive, moody, and thought-provoking. Lotus strives to delve deeply into the mind of his viewers to explore the outer limits of their imagination. Each art piece is a brilliant digital rendering with an otherworldly presence. Stephen takes a photo, then extracts the essence of the original subject by meticulously distorting it solely using his mobile phone. These stellar renderings are sometimes printed on glowing metal substrates to enhance the energy they emit.
